Miri.My Wiki is your primary knowledge base for anything about Miri contributed by her community with the sole purpose of centralizing and structuring local data into useful information for everyone.

- The Periwinkle flower in the logo is the official flower of Miri.[1]
- The [[ ]] (double square brackets) represents the wiki markup language of the open source Mediawiki.org system that is being used here at Miri.My.
- The word MIRI in black color represents crude oil or "black gold" which the Oil & Gas industry has brought the astounding development to the city.
- The word MY in blue color represents the present day Resort City which Miri has become.
- The domain name MIRI.MY literally means Miri (the city and its people) in Malaysia which is represented by the ccTLD (country code top-level domain).
Mission
Miri.My's mission is to provide a neutral platform and an unbiased repository for everyone's benefit to publish relevant contents in accordance to our Rules by further extending the aim of the Miri Community Network project.

- 25 March 2008: The Miri.My domain was registered exactly on 25 March 2008 at 9:00am Malaysia Time when MYNIC officially opens the .my ccTLD for public registration[1].
- 3 January 2009: The Miri.My project was introduced during the Go "Hawaii" on MiriCommunity.net 3rd Anniversary dinner.
- 5 September 2009: Miri.My forum gets created at MiriCommunity.net.
